I have longer fingers than most so the Duke was my favorite controller. But I've had no problems switching to the new 360 contoller. I find it more comfortable then I had imagined.

Seeing that around 50% of the people who have the 360 never owned the original. Chances are they owned the Playstation. It seems to me that there would be a huge MSG4 fanbase on the 360. The more of the game he sells, the better the next will be. It's a great move.
I've never played any of the series before, but I'm interested in trying it out. I'm a potential costumer that he wouldn't get otherwise.
I work for a company in Texas where everyone made over $55,000 this last year. We have some of the biggest Sony fanboys around. Even they are waiting for the price to drop! I never would have thought price would be a factor for these guys. Sony needs to stop the bleeding by giving something away with the PS3.
If these guys don't buy it, I can easily see Sony taking a distant 3rd a year from now.
Sony said last year in a Gameinformer issue that they WANT it to be free, not that it will remain free.
They said that will be up to the developers. So before you go bowing down to your Sony idol just yet, wait a few months.
Be careful what you say fanboys about the price, all that online play just might change.
Is this just another lie by Sony? Let's wait for an outside analysist. When it comes to what they say, you start to second guess the news.
Maybe it's my computer, but this looks like a big step backwards compared to Motorstorm. Little better than PS2 quality graphics.
These people blatantly lie and all the fanboys want to come to their rescue and give excuses for it! That's dumb! Are we becoming brainwashed! This is a huge company flat out lying! We are not that stupid! None of them should be doing it, that goes for MS and Nintendo too! Sony just seems to be the one doing it the most. That doesn't make any of it right!
I like my 360 and MS, but if this is true I don't think it is a good thing for the industry as a whole. I think all of us are tired of EA buying all the rights to games and pushing out the competition that had better innovation in their games. With the cost of developing going up, I think it would be harder for a huge company like this to make it with all their games on just one system. This is not what the industry needs IMO.

I see a few of the PS3 owners complaining about the lack of games to choose from. That's what happens when you let developers choose which console they want to develope for. Looks like they picked the PS2. If Sony would of did the same as MS, we wouldn't be talking about this right now.
I bet alot of high-up Sony Execs. are uncomfortable with the saying "look at our PS2 sales". When share holders, developers, and retailers are saying "what about your PS3 sales?"
I think the game looks good for 30fps. Your right, it's really not about the game and the way it looks. I personally own a 720p TV, but if I had gone out and paid alot more for a 1080p TV based on sony's word of a majority of their games being in 1080p, i'd be a little disappointed. If not in 1080p, why did they drop to 30fps? Is it the programmer, or the bottleneck in the hardware? Just thinking out loud.
Things are changing though. MS is making a push to meet the need of all game genres. All because MS knows how to do FPSs like know one else, doesn't mean they don't do other games great. Your gonna see alot more developers getting on board with all sorts of games with the huge lead in the next-gen console race.
... but they do make sense in that aspect.
I think discontinuing the XBOX was a good move by MS, and supporting the PS2 so much could turn out to be bad for Sony. Developers need to know if they make a game for the next generation PS3 that it will sell. If not they have to find other means of making money, which means exclusives will go to the 360. If all the games play the same and look the same, why would you pay $200 more (premium editions)for the same experience. If MS decides to drop the price by another $100, then Sony might...
In your circle of friends & aquaintances, are you seeing the PS3 or 360 selling better or about even? I know people usually buy what their friends have. (so everybodys response might be a little bias one way or the other)
If this is true, what does it matter? Some of the people in this forum have expressed interest in these add-ons, and now that we might get them everyones throw'n a fit! How many of us are really going to sell the 'BOX we have now for one with an HDMI port? Not me. All I want is the bigger HDD. If it is true (I bet it's modded), bring it on, give the consumer something else.
I'd never seen an emotional game trailer like this before, ever!
Now if they can put this in a game, that's another story. I sure hope so though.
Think if they could put that kind of emotion in our favorite war game. It's a whole new ball game!
